Mark Steven Carter

Mark Steven Carter, 66, of Wilmington Island, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025 while in hospice care. He was surrounded by loved ones.

Mark was a singer-songwriter who loved entertaining and bringing happiness to others through his music.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby Gene Carter and Charlotte Rose; his brother, Mike;  and his son, Stephen.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy; sons, Bobby and Johnny; daughters, Jessica and Jordan; eight grandchildren; his sister, Vicky; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mark will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him. 

A celebration of Mark's life will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at Wilmington Island Presbyterian Church with Reverend Andy Meeker officiating.
